They only stayed by the door where you walk into the ward. Mom is afraid to go in in case she picks up any infections or bugs, with her COPD that wouldn’t be wise.
She brought me lots of clean clothes, and I gave her all my dirty ones.
She also brought me a bag of snacks. I’ve just eaten a half bag of jelly babies, so my blood sugar will probably be through the roof this afternoon when it is tested.
My sister said she feels exhausted, I’m actually really worried about her. Her iron levels are really low, like at only 6 and she’s going back to her GP on Monday and they are going to see if she will need infusions, hospitalization, or what to fix it.
So I’d be grateful if you can all keep my sister in your thoughts and send good juju her way.
They only stayed for about 10 mins. But I was happy they came. Frances said she’d come this weekend too but I am not sure when or if she will.
There is nothing going on today on the ward. They are a bit short staffed actually.
So yeah, that’s my update for now.
