Therapy Bits

Well, I had a visit from my PA Frances this afternoon.

She stayed for about 45 minutes.

She brought me some Pepsi max and some sweets to suck on as I constantly have a case of dry mouth.

It was so good to see her. We were in a private room on our own for the duration of her visit.

She said she’d come again on Saturday.

I’m so grateful for her making time to come visit me.

My mom is coming over too at the weekend, but she won’t stay, she’ll just drop off more clean clothes to me and pick up my laundry.

I understand she can’t stay, as it would be risky with her COPD she could pick up an infection.

We managed to eat a little dinner, it was turkey, stuffing, mashed potato and brussels sprouts. I didn’t eat the sprouts, but I ate everything else.

And it was ice cream and peaches for dessert.

One of the nurses took us to the hospital shop this morning, and I bought some aero bars, some salt and vinegar crisps and some ice cream.

They charge extortionate prices in the hospital shop, but there is no where else to buy things, so they can get away with it.

Anyway, that is about it for now.
