My niece Lauren turns sixteen today! Happy, happy birthday Lauren! She’s in Spain, celebrating with her parents and brother, they are at a theme park today celebrating her special day.
I wrote her this poem, and I thought I’d share it here on my blog.
On your special day, dear niece,
Sweet 16, a milestone reached,
Birthday celebrations in full swing,
Bringing joy and laughter to the scene.
Time flies, you’re all grown up now,
But kindness still shines from your brow.
I love you more than words can say,
Excitement in the air, happy birthday!
A beautiful young lady, full of grace,
May your day be filled with love’s embrace.
Here’s to the future, with all its possibilities,
Happy birthday to you, my dear niece.
