Therapy Bits

So, I’m back on the sub acute side of the ward. I got moved over this evening!

I’m in a six bedded ward right next to the nurses station.

It means I’m going home soon! Maybe possibly on Tuesday when Dr. Barry is in and I see her!

I know we have a lot to work on in regards to plans for extra hours, emotional support, etc. but that takes a while, and this was just a crisis admission and I don’t want to stay any longer than is necessary!

Mom said I could stay with her and dad on Tuesday night, and my sister will drop me home on Wednesday!

Then, she also said she’ll get what I need for the upcoming week when she’s getting her own groceries on Friday, I’ll be going there Friday any way to spend the weekend with my parents.

I am hoping Mairead the social worker has managed to find out some stuff when I see her on Tuesday. I imagine she’ll be in our meeting with Dr. Barry.

So things are looking up. I slept for 3 hours today after lunch!

I’m actually feeling good!

My mood is up, I am not anxious right now, and I feel ready to go home.

I do know I’ll be referred to the weekend service, for phone support, and that is a good thing.

Also, our weather is supposed to go down to minus 5 this week at night, and so I need to heat my house, the last thing I need is my pipes bursting and the house to get flooded.

So that is where things are at now. I just had a nice cup of tea, and a banana, and a yogurt.

It will be time for night meds soon!
