This week for his story starter prompt, Fandango give us the following to work with!
This week’s Story Starter teaser is:
The mysterious figure emerged from the shadows of the dimly lit alley and started walking toward her, sending chills up and down her spine.
She knew this was it.
She could not escape.
He strode towards her, and just as he approached he pulled his rifle out of his pants and pointed it at her head!
“Get down”!, he shouted.
She immediately dropped to the floor, shaking all over.
Oh please she begged, don’t shoot me!
“Shut up”! He snarled.
“Give me your purse”!
She handed it over, praying he’d take what was in there and go.
He rifled through the contents of the purse, spying the 1000 dollars that was her wage packet.
He immediately grabbed it and spun around to face her.
“I’ll let you go on one condition”, he said with an evil grin.
“You can’t look at my face”!
She promised not to look at him, and with the gun on her, he moved away, holding the envelope with the 1000 dollars in it in his hands.
When she felt he was out of sight, she took a sneaky look in his direction.
She needed to see if she could identify him.
He wasn’t going to get away with robbing her! She’d go to the police. She would not let him do this to her!
All of a sudden a gun shot rang out in the crisp morning air.
He’d seen her looking, and he thought, I’ll finish her off before she finishes me off.
