For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a box of photos. Colored ones mixed with black and white, and sepia ones. The box is resting on a green patch of grass.

I sit on the green lush grass

Going through old photos

Memories of the past

As I sit here

With these old photos

I wonder

About the places, and people

Who look back at me

Where are they now?

Has life been good to them?

Do they remember me?

Sometimes

The past has a funny way

Of grabbing us

And pulling us back in

The past is the past

I am in the here and now

I need to remember that

On my darkest days.

A beautiful take Carol. Memories are good but should stay where they belong. Thanks for joining in.

Definitely easy to get sucked in. Funny because I have so many old videos and photos to go through but I know that is a whole day to itself once I commit
