This picture shows a nurse standing outside a cabin hidden by trees in the woods.

It was early morning, not even 7 AM.

The call for an ambulance had come in at 5 AM, but the cabin had been very hard to get to because of the surrounding woodlands.

Jenny was a young paramedic, she’d just taken her nursing exams.

She had spent the last half hour in the cabin working on the man who lived there, trying to save his life.

But alas, it was no use. He’d been pronounced dead at 6:45 AM.

Jenny stood outside the cabin, she knew his family needed to be told.

It was her job to ring his next of kin.

With a heavy heart, she picked up the phone, and slowly dialed the numbers.

This was not going to be easy, the man had a wife and kids.

She knew it would come as a shock to his wife.

As Jenny waited for someone to answer the phone, she said a quick prayer.

This was her first experience of informing a family that their loved one had passed away.

A little too late! I would hate to be the one delivering the news. Your story matches the look of the nurse in the picture.
