This was what my abuser told me
On a daily basis
For 11 years straight
To others, he was an amazing man
He worked in the school for blind kids
He was good, personable
He was kind and caring
But he feigned all of that
To me, he wasn’t any of those things
He was a monster
Who prayed on little kids
Vulnerable kids at that.
