I knew when I awoke this morning it would be a great new years eve.

I’d be spending it with family, which I was so glad about.

I spent the morning in the kitchen with mom, while she cooked our dinner.

Then we had an early dinner, and a cake and a cup of tea afterwards.

My aunt visited In the afternoon, and brought us late Christmas gifts.

My gift was a mug, with a tub of hot chocolate, marshmallows, and a whisk to whisk it all up.

Pure bliss!

I will enjoy that later on this evening!

I will indulge while watching the new years eve countdown!

I will ring in 2023 with my mom, give her the biggest hug ever, and say, love you, mom!

And I am so thankful you are still with me! Not many 42 year olds can say I love you to their mom.

I am blessed!
