2022 year in review

Well, another year is almost over. I thought I’d answer these questions, that I found on another blog, for a bit of light hearted fun.

One. One word to describe this year.

Busy.

Two. Best thing you did for someone else this year.

Saved my mom’s life.

Three. Favorite movie of the year.

I didn’t watch a whole lot of movies, but one that stands out for me that I did see is Belfast.

Four. Favorite show of the year.

I watched a lot of shows. My favourites were the good doctor, Law and order SVU, The voice UK And USA, and on Netflix, the girl in the picture.

Five. Most embarrassing moment of the year.

I really cant think of one that stands out.

Six. Time you laughed the hardest this year.

When I was in Colorado visiting Sarah and I knocked a water melon off the table, and she thought it was my head hitting the floor, I will mention here, we’re both blind!

Seven. Something you learned to do/have never done before.

I learned to use my washing machine and dryer!

Eight. Most newsworthy event this year.

That would have to be my sister moving into her new house that herself and her partner built from scratch, well, they didn’t build it, but they designed the layout of it.

Nine. Biggest lesson learned this year.

That life is very short, anything can happen to your loved ones at any moment, so make memories while you can!

Ten. Favorite place you visited this year.

Colorado!

Eleven. Most memorable day of the year.

Sarah’s birthday celebration, when I was in Colorado!

Twelve. Best advice you received this year.

My therapist always says to me when I am panicking…there is no 9 9 9, 9 9 9 is the phone number for our emergency services in Ireland.

Thirteen. An achievement you are proud of this year.

Getting an award for working on friendly call.

Fourteen. Reminisce about one great compliment you received this year.

Lots of people tell me I have a beautiful smile. It always makes me happy.

Fifteen. What or whom are you most thankful for this year?

My therapist, psychiatrist, my sister, and my mom, all of my friends, both online and offline.

Sixteen. What was the hardest moment of the year.

Losing my cousin William, he was homeless and a drug addict and he died on the streets back in May. I grieve for him every day.

Carol Anne, this is a very honest set of answers to the questions. I am sorry for the loss of your cousin. I understand the grief.
