Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “on your/my plate.” Use it any way you’d like. Have fun!

I’ve had a lot on my plate this past month.

Lots of worry and stress mostly about my mom because she has been so ill.

Now, finally, she’s getting back to normal.

And I am so thankful.

My anxietys been through the roof. I feel as if now I can finally breathe again.

Now I can look forward to Christmas. I love Christmas.

This year it will be special. I will go to my parents to spend Christmas with them.

We will have turkey and ham and all the trimmings, we will have mince pies, Christmas cake and Christmas pudding.

I actually bought a Christmas pudding yesterday for my mom.

I have told mom I will help out. I want to buy the turkey and ham this year as I will be eating it too and I’d like to help out with the cost of food.

Anyway, I feel great now that mom is home from the hospital.

My stress has subsided.
