I dyed my hair dark brown, I wanted to accentuate it, especially now that the greys were gone.

It worked. Today my sister noticed it.

“Did you dye your hair?” She asked.

“Yeah, I said, I dyed it at the weekend”.

“I thought you were letting it go grey naturally”, she said?

“No, I said. I’m not ready to take that step just yet”.

I guess I’m not ready to go grey. I’m too young. Even if I feel very old.

As long as I have healthy hair, I’m happy though. And that is the truth.

One of the best conversations I had with my mother in law before she passed away was me telling her I’d begun to henna my hair. She said, “Good for you!” sounding really supportive. So Carol Anne, good for you. It’s your hair and you get to feel good about it!

It is amazing how much the state of our hair affects how we feel. I went for a haircut last week and my regular stylist wasn’t able to get in for my appointment. I went with another stylist and it just wasn’t the same. I felt a bit off for three days. 🙄

I can understand that I think I would feel the same if I was going to someone and they were always doing my hair and then I had to go to someone else 😃😘
