My sense of self and self worth are no longer determined by the praise or criticism of others. But my God did it take years to get here. And it takes hard work and support to stay here.

That’s so true. Once you are one with yourself, you know who you are and enter a specific power and self-esteem. What others think of you, simply doesn’t matter anymore.
