He knew she’d have all the guys eating out of her hand!
He didn’t want to look like a fool, so he silently crept outside, and went to his car.
Today was not his lucky day. He didn’t think he was ever going to have a lucky day.
Life had given him nothing but curve balls.
He resigned himself to this fact, as he drove out of the parking lot.
