Well, we saw Dr. Barry this morning. It was a good appointment. We told her everything, how we are doing mentally, how we’re struggling with ptsd symptoms, dissociative symptoms, anxiety, memories, she knows this time of year is really tough for us.
She decided to bring our trevicta injection forward by two weeks, so instead of getting it on november 17th we’ll now get it on the 27th of october.
It is normally every 3 months that we get it, but she told me that we might be able to bring it down to every 10 weeks, to deal with breakthrough symptoms.
She also started us on 3 MG of invega at night, the trevicta shot is invega but in injectible form, but the 3 mg of invega she gave us is to be taken orally.
I am hoping that will help us. Taylor is experiencing some psychosis and hallucinating again, and when that happens it is not good, it really distresses her.
Also we are experiencing hearing voices, not the alters voices, but some male voices that say negative things to us and about us, its really scary and when we’re stressed out the voices are worse.
Dr. Barry also gave us a prescription for zopiclone, its a sleep med, and she upped our dose from 7.5 mg to 15 MG!
The zopiclone is only a short term thing, but I’m glad she was willing to give it to us on a short term basis. We really havent been sleeping good, not sure it is going to work, we seem to have a high tolerance for meds, nothing seems to knock us out.
Anyway, We have to wait now for the pharmacy to get their act together, dr. Barry faxed our prescription down to our gp, and he has to sign it and get it in to the pharmacy before we’ll get to start the new meds.
