So I was chatting to pat on the phone just now. And he had another story to tell me about his guide dog zarly! He’s a food magnet, he’s a pure black lab, so its no surprise he’s such a food hound!
anyway, on Saturday night pat went into the shower, leaving zarly in the bedroom. He had some candy and chocolate on his computer table, they were his supplies that he keeps there in case he gets low blood sugar at night.
So what did mr. Zarly do?
He ate a bag of jelly babies and 2 snickers bars!
He was puking all night after doing that! But pat was glad, he got really worried about him having eaten chocolate and so much sugar!
But OMG! This dog is unbelievable!
Makes me glad Nitro was never that naughty!

I am glad that Zarly and your friend are ok. Our dog Casey ate a box of chocolates one Christmas. The vet said milk chocolates/bars have so little actual chocolate in them that they won’t do anything worse than give them an upset stomach from the sugar. Baking chocolate is much worse for dogs.
