You walk along
Wagging your tail
Nose raised in the air
Sniffing furiously as we walk
I wonder
What your smelling?
Is it the scent of other dogs?
Or the flowers?
You stop
Leave your mark
Before rushing on to see what other adventures await
The sun shines brightly
Its such a glorious day
A beautiful afternoon
For a walk
Just me and you
Just the two of us
Mommy and doggy time
