Mom saw her consultant. And its good news! She can go home!
He said she picked up the bacterial infection after her bronchoskopy, and he’s going to give her another 5 days worth of antibiotics just to make sure its totally gone!
He’s also putting her on oxygen! She will be on portable oxygen. He said she could use it when she’s out and about!
Her oxygen levels are ok when she’s sitting down, or not moving around, its only upon exhersion that they drop!
Also, he said her biopsies came back clear!
There is no cancer!
I am beyond ecstatic!
He’s going to refer her to the COPD clinic, and she will continue to be treated as an outpatient there.
So its all good news!
