So as you all know, I’m getting vaccinated next thursday, I got offered the vaccine by my mental health team, they were offering it to anyone whose on a depo injection, and I am, so I got offered it.
Now, you’d think all of the people who are doing vaccines, gp’s surgeries, hospitals, all the vaccination centres would correspond with each other and once they’ve offered someone a jab, that they’d let the rest of the centres know! Is it like that? Hell nooo!
Today, I got a call from my gp’s sue=rgery. I was offered a vaccine tomorrow morning! I politely declined and told the secretary that I was getting mine next thursday. Its just nuts that this kinda thing is happening.
I know I’m not the first person this has happened to. My friend Pat in dublin got 2 further calls after he was vaccinated, and my PA frances got 3 further calls from different centres offering her the vaccine and she’d already been vaccinated weeks earlier.
Does this happen in other countries? When your vaccinated here you have to provide your PPS number, its like a social security number in the USA. So this kinda thing really shouldnt happen!
Leave it to our country, rolling things out assways.
