The challenge for this week is a good one!

This week consider the notion of an epic fail.

It can be a very subjective view, like a dinner that went wrong, a holiday that went pear shaped, anything that started off with the best of intentions and through various means failed to meet expectations.

Go where the prompt leads you and have fun.

About a week ago, my sister, who loves to try her hand at cooking, said she’d make me some tomato soup. One of her clients at work had given her a bunch of fresh tomatos which they’d grown, so she said she’d try her hand at making some soup out of them.
She’d tried this once before, and it had turned out great. So she thought she’d replacate the same recipe.
😀
Well, lets just say she fudged it up big time!
🙂
She forgot the carrots, and whatever she did to make the soup, it came out all watery, and tasted awful!
😀
She was so disappointed, and she thought I would be too!
I was, but our mom told me not to say anything to her about it, as she was upset since she promised me some soup for my lunch.
I said nothing to her, but she brought it up of her own accord, and told me what happened to her while she was making it.
😀
I told her not to worry, it was fine, but she said, what an epic fail!

I fully understand as a person whose cooking has on occasions left a lot to be desired. Thanks for sharing your response with us. I’d like to think we learn something from our failures.
