The historical event I love reading and learning about the most is the Irish famine. It is so interesting. I learned about it in school, but since I’ve finished school, I read up some more on it. So many people died in Ireland during that time. Also so many people emigrated to America, to the UK, etc. I sure wouldn’t have liked to live back then. It was a very tough time period, and people who lived during the famine sure had a very tough life.
