Therapy Bits

I spent this morning at the hospital. I was having an EEG done on my brain.

Mom went with me. I thought I was going to be late for my appointment, because the taxi was delayed, but I made it on time thank goodness!

The guy who did the test was lovely. He was very chatty and he put me right at ease!

The test took around 45 minutes to complete. Now I kind of look like a mad woman because there is all this paste in my hair from when he connected the wires to my head.

I’ll have to wash my hair this evening.

I won’t have the results for a couple of weeks, because it needs to be analysed, and then it will be sent back to my neurologist, but I don’t see her again until January.

He did say that there wasn’t anything startling that showed up in it, so that is a positive.

I’m happy to have it over with now. I came back to mom and dad’s house, and I will stay until Sunday afternoon.

Our weather is meant to be bad again tonight from 6 PM. We are meant to have heavy rain and some high wind.

I will just relax for the rest of the day. I don’t have any plans this weekend either, so I think it is going to just be a chill out weekend.
