Did so on a bright garden bed,
She caught a small fly,
Who pleaded, “Oh my!”
Then they shared tea and crumpets instead.

What a delightful twist on the classic tale! This charming little poem subverts the expected with a message of kindness and friendship, proving that even the unlikeliest of pairs can share a peaceful moment. A truly wholesome and heartwarming read.

What a polite hostess! At least the fly wasn’t lunch this time!
