Series: #2 in Fritz Malone

Category: Mystery

Synopsis:

New York. As TV star Marshall Fox stands trial for double murder, his former lover Robin Burrell is killed in similar fashion. PI Fritz Malone tries to determine whether Robin’s death was a copycat crime–or whether they have the wrong man.

Comments:

I felt that this mystery wasn’t well put together. I found it difficult to follow some threads, even through to the end. I liked Fritz as a character — he’s very funny — but the other characters weren’t all that likable. Peter Ganim’s narration was quite acceptable. Bottom line:

I didn’t like this story as much as I did the previous novel in this series.
