I’m so glad this week is over! It has been very stressful. There is a lot going on for us mentally, and then family wise, also. Our week has been super busy. So I’m not sorry to see this week come to an end. I’m excited to just relax for the weekend. It is nice to have no plans, maybe I’ll do a lot of reading, and drink a lot of coffee, and read blogs, respond to comments, and maybe binge watch a show or two.
And here is a little peek at my week in poetry!
☕ A Peek at My Week ☕
This week was a circus, a three-ring affair,
With too much caffeine and not nearly enough air.
My brain spun in circles, a hamster on wheels,
Mental fog thick as the deadlines it steals.
I wrestled my thoughts like they owed me the rent,
Some mornings felt broken before they even went.
Yet coffee kept pouring, cup after cup—
A jittery anthem that propped my mood up.
Emails, appointments, chaos on repeat,
My to-do list grew faster than I could delete.
I laughed at the madness (to keep from the tears),
A cocktail of burnout and battling fears.
But hey—here comes Friday, I’m eyeing the prize,
A weekend of freedom, the sun in my eyes.
No buzzing alarms, no deadlines to chase,
Just breathing, existing, reclaiming my space.
So here’s to the struggle, the stumbles, the grind,
The coffee-stained weeks that test heart and mind.
I’ll stumble, I’ll laugh, I’ll keep riding the streak,
Till peace meets my soul at the end of the week.

Talk to me! I love comments!
