This week our challenge is to use the word “audacity” in 79 words, and write a poem, or a piece of prose, in 79 words!

Well ok then, here goes!

With audacity, the dawn takes flame,
Challenging night without shame.
Roots break stone, the wild grows free,
Defiant tides command the sea.

A heart that dares, though frail, will rise,
Drawing courage from endless skies.
Dreams unspool on reckless wings,
Hope remakes the smallest things.

Audacity whispers: move, begin,
Forge the path no foot has been.
Through shadow’s weight, through silence vast,
It dares the present, outshines the past.

Audacity—life’s fiercest art.
