Thank you Melissa for setting the challenge.

Melissa’s Fandango Flash Fiction Challenge #330 – Mom With a Blog

She walks where morning spills its gold,
Through meadows soft and secrets old,
With footsteps light as whispered prayer—
Pink roses and baby’s breath in her hair.

The dawn adores her gentle grace,
A hush of bloom upon her face.
Each petal tells the winds she’s near,
With fragrance woven crystal-clear.

The roses speak of hearts once stirred,
Of love half-said, of vows unheard.
The baby’s breath, so pure and white,
Trails dreams behind her into night.

She sings where silence dares to stay,
A lilt that draws the stars her way.
Even the willows pause and stare
At pink roses and baby’s breath in her hair.

She is the hush before the rain,
The balm for every aching strain,
A memory dressed in floral air—
Pink roses and baby’s breath in her hair.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.
