A singer once lost in her craft,
Sang notes in a wobbly shaft.
She missed the high octave,
Fell flat, not so suave,
And fled as the crowd merely laughed.
An outcast in chorus, it’s true,
She dreamed of a grand vocal coup.
But mistakes do occur,
Like a misplaced demur—
Now she hums in a choir of two.
