Ragtag Daily Prompt Thursday: Entangle

In the heart of the storm,

where the sea churns like a wild canvas,

emotions entangle,

a dance of chaos beneath gray skies.

Lost among the waves, I drift,

my story a fragile boat,

tethered by threads of truth,

yet bobbing in the fog of feelings,

where trauma lies like rocks, hidden

beneath the shimmering surface.

I search for my muse in the depths,

a flicker of light in the intensity

of the deluge—

within the stream of crashing tides,

a whisper of healing brews,

soaking into the very marrow of my bones.

Each swell a breath,

each crest a memory,

each descent a chance to let go,

to rise anew with the dawn.

Here, among the wreckage,

I find fragments of myself,

scattered like shells upon the shore,

each one a reminder—

that even lost, I am whole;

that even tangled, I can breathe;

that even in the storm,

beneath the weight of the fog,

truth finds its way,

and healing, oh, healing,

is the quiet lullaby beneath the tempest,

the sea,

the unfathomable,

that carries me home.
