As the sun peeked through the curtains, I quietly tiptoed to the kitchen to prepare a special breakfast for my mom. I carefully arranged pancakes, fresh strawberries, and a steaming cup of coffee on a tray, making sure every detail was perfect. With a handmade card tucked beneath the plate, I gently pushed the door open and entered her room, my heart racing with excitement. “Happy Mother’s Day!” I exclaimed, watching her sleepy eyes widen in surprise. She smiled, her face lighting up as she read my heartfelt words, and I felt a warm rush of joy knowing I had made her day a little brighter. Together, we savored the delicious breakfast, cherishing the love that filled the room.
