Embracing my power

In shadows deep where silence grew,

A whisper spoke, it felt so true,

Through nights of fear and days long spent,

Resilience bloomed, like a heart unbent.

With memories sharp, like glass in the skin,

The weight of the past tried to pull me in,

Yet I rise, I am alert, I stand my ground,

In the echoes of sorrow, new strength I’ve found.

Surviving the tempest, I navigate pain,

Each tear, a river, now cleanses the stain,

I gather the pieces, mosaic of scars,

Finding beauty in fragments, like light from the stars.

Recovery is a journey, not merely a race,

It’s embracing the shadows, it’s learning to face

The depths of despair, the power to heal,

With courage as armor, I begin to feel.

The past, though it lingers, no longer defines,

With every small victory, the strength realigns,

I’ll rise like the dawn, with a fierce, steady heart,

In the tapestry woven, I reclaim my art.

Each step is a triumph, each breath a new song,

Through valleys of darkness, I’ve learned to be strong,

With hope as my compass, I chart a new course,

Embracing my power, a radiant force.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.

If you feel like donating to my fund you can donate using pay pal. My pay pal email for donating is:

Don’t feel you have to, there is no pressure, but I’m grateful for any donations that are received.
