Oh what a thrill!

Oh, what a thrill, as dawn breaks bright,

The world awakes in soft morning light.

With gentle whispers, the day begins,

And dreams of the night fade like fleeting sins.

I stretch and yawn, the sheets still warm,

A cozy cocoon, away from the storm.

The kettle sings a sweet, steady tune,

A ritual dance in the glow of the moon.

Steam spirals up, a silken embrace,

As I pour my thoughts into that waiting space.

A mug filled with solace, an amber delight,

Awakens my senses, ignites the first light.

The tea leaves unfurl, a symphony brewed,

Each sip tells a story, both tender and shrewd.

Lemon and honey, a delicate blend,

Each tasting note whispers, a friendship to mend.

Outside, the morning unfurls like a bloom,

Birds serenade softly, dispelling the gloom.

With each gentle sip, I lose track of time,

Wrapped in the warmth, in the company of rhyme.

Oh, what a thrill, this quiet reprieve,

With a mug in my hands, I truly believe.

Life’s simple pleasures, like tea in the sun,

Are treasures that linger, long after they’re done.
