**December 26, 2024 – Boxing Day**

Today was absolutely wonderful. Spent the whole day with Mom and my sister, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to wind down after Christmas.

My sister truly outdid herself with dinner. She prepared spiced beef and a leg of lamb that were simply to die for. The aroma filled the house, and we couldn’t wait to dig in. The flavors were incredible, and it felt like we were dining at a five-star restaurant, right in the comfort of our home.

After dinner, we cozied up in the living room. The Quiet Man was on TV—one of our favorites. It’s become a bit of a tradition to watch it together, and each time feels as special as the first.

We had cake and tea, a delightful combination that perfectly capped off the evening. We chatted about everything and nothing, just enjoying each other’s company and the peaceful atmosphere. The living room was filled with laughter and the kind of warmth that only family can bring.

This Boxing Day was a beautiful reminder of the simple joys in life—good food, comforting traditions, and the company of loved ones. Feeling incredibly grateful for these moments.
