In restless hours when slumber flees away,

Where thoughts like restless tides ebb and flow,

With gentle breath, let worries fade and sway,

In stillness find the peace that we bestow.

Close weary eyes, and let the darkness guide,

A tranquil voyage within the soul’s embrace,

In silent whispers, let all fears subside,

For in this calm, find solitude and grace.

Let memories drift like leaves upon the stream,

Each breath a gentle whisper of the night,

In meditation’s tender, soothing dream,

The heart finds rest, and soul recovers light.

Though sleep may elude, peace can still be found,

In quiet moments, let the mind be crowned.

In response to your lovely poem, Carol … I wrote a Haiku for you …

    “Midnight Rainbows” (a Haiku)

    The yellow full moon
    Illuminates the night sky
    With dreamy rainbows
