Dinner catastrophe

So mom was going to cook roast pork for dinner today. She had bought a nice chunk of meat, and we were all looking forward to eating it.

This morning, when she went to open it, she smelled it and it had gone bad.

She had me smell it too just to be sure.

It definitely smelled off.

So she threw it away. And we had to cook something else, which I still am not sure what she’s making now instead.

At least the piece of pork only cost her six euros. She got it in a sale.

We were thinking that there could’ve been a small pinhole in the packaging, that caused the meat to go bad.

Oh well, at least we didn’t eat it and then get sick from it.

That’s unfortunate. Thankfully, you both noticed something was off about the meat before you ate it.

Too bad about the meat being spoiled. It’s always good to smell things and to check the dates of expiration, too. That saying, ‘if in doubt, throw it out’ is good advice. 🙂

      I’m glad I didn’t get food poisoning that would’ve been awful 🤩
