He is now in a back brace and getting injections in his back. He’s also on antibiotics just in case of an infection in the spine setting in.
They are treating the pneumonia with antibiotics and he is also getting injections in his stomach for clotting but that’s just procedure, everyone gets them when you’re in the hospital.
He is very agitated and very angry and not accepting his diagnosis of osteoporosis very well.
He does not want to be in the hospital, but he has to stay put. He needs to be there.
They will do a colonoscopy tomorrow because he hasn’t had a bowel movement in a week and a half so they need to figure out why and what is going on with that. He has ulcerative colitis so there might be something going on other than that we aren’t sure.
