I woke up this morning feeling listless and quite low.

I had breakfast, but then went back to bed, all I wanted to do was hide under my duvet.

I slept for another hour, then, mom asked me if I wanted to go out to do some shopping, she needed to go out, and I knew she would need help so I decided to get up and wash my hair and shower, so I’d be nice and fresh going out.

In the end, my aunt offered to take us in her car, so we didn’t have to pay for taxis.

I’m so glad I decided to go with mom. We went to a big shopping center and we went and had coffee and cake.

Then mom needed some items and I did too, so we picked up what we needed.

It was a lovely afternoon, and the weather is nice today also, which makes me happy.

All in all I feel good now, so I’ll take it.

Mom made curry and we just ate it about a half hour ago.

I’ve no plans for the rest of this evening, other than reading, and maybe watching some TV with mom.

    You are right about this, Carol Anne. Dwelling on sadness draws us down deeper. We have to fight through it and enjoy all the wonderful things in our lives. That one part isn’t the story of our life.

    When I am depressed or angry, I go outside to sit in my chair to get some natural vitamin D. I also like to watch comedies to make me laugh since laughter is good medicine.
