I am smiling today for many reasons. I could’ve chosen to be in a bad mood as I got very little sleep, but I didn’t choose to be.

I am smiling because at breakfast time I saw a nurse I recognized from our last hospital stay and she is lovely, I really like her.

I am smiling because we managed to eat breakfast, of porridge and a yogurt.

I am smiling because a lovely nurse helped me shower, and she let me do it on my own, she waited outside, to give me privacy.

And I am smiling because half of this week is over!

    Sometimes forcing yourself to smile is good personal therapy. In your situation you are appreciating the people and situations in your life that make you happy.
