today’s words: sultry-fatal-flat
In the sultry mood of a summer’s eve,
A flat sadness lingers, refusing to leave.
Fatal thoughts of being alone and lonely,
Engulf my mind, causing inner turmoil only.
But amidst this chaos, I find solace in my past,
Revisiting memories of a childhood that won’t last.
Embracing my inner child, I seek refuge and peace,
In the safety of a sanctuary, where worries cease.
Within these walls, I find comfort and grace,
A haven where troubles vanish without a trace.
My inner child dances, carefree and wild,
In this sanctuary, where dreams are compiled.
So let the sultry mood and flat sadness fade,
For in this sanctuary, my spirit is remade.
No longer alone, no longer in despair,
I find serenity, knowing I’m in good care.
