A stray thought
Crosses my mind
All of a sudden
A display of emotions
Takes me by surprise
I wasn’t expecting that
Usually I keep my emotions under wraps
I ware a happy hat
Do the happy dance
Emotions are crazy
My mind feels hazy
Spinning out of control
Not good
On this Monday morning
I know I should
Rain my emotions in
Just until
I get to my therapists office
When I can let them out
To play
On this warm, sunny Monday.
