Sadje gives us another sunday poser…this week she says:

My question this week is related to Independence Day in the US;

What does independence means to you?

Being blind, I really value my independence!
I have had that independence because of Nitro, my now retired guide dog.
He was a fantastic worker and we traveled many places together.
He gave me the freedom to venture out on my own, and do things I never thought possible.
I am so thankful that I was matched with him. He’s been a terrific worker.
Now he’s enjoying his retirement, and I am depending on people to help me get from A to B again.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.

If you feel like donating to my fund you can donate using pay pal. My pay pal email for donating is:

Don’t feel you have to, there is no pressure, but I’m grateful for any donations that are received.

Again thanks for visiting!
