Today I share a poem with you that I created for an online poetry workshop on Coursera. We were supposed to use an image and an abstraction in the title or prompt. Mine was (yes, I laughed too 😉 ) “The Biscuit of Vision”

Futures & Pearls

It takes the biscuit
This hope
Of home,
Peace and friends.

Maybe we dreamers
create futures and pearls.

I am not sure about “friends”. Am still looking for another word there. Previously I used “cake, work, treasure”. All of them don’t quite seem to get it, whatever “it” is 🙂
