I just finished the book taken, by Lisa Stone. Lisa stone is also known by another name, She’s also known as Cathy glass, but under Lisa Stone she writes thrillers. She has four in total so far, this one is her fourth book.
It was a gripping read from start to finish! It had me wanting more from the start to the very end!
The book is about Kelsy smith, whose young daughter Layla aged 8, goes missing, she is taken by a guy who lives in the flat below Kelsy. Kelsy is a single mom, and a drug addict and prostitute, she doesnt look after Layla very well.
The guy who takes her thinks he’s saving her from a terrible life, but that is just the start of the saga. In the book we see Kelsys sister, an elderly lady on the estate where kelsy lives, all have an involvement in Laylas disappearance.
I wont give too much away. But you wont be disappointed. I highly recommend this book, and I give it 5 stars.
