I am rereading a book I read a few years ago at the moment. Its a cathy glass book. Its called will you love me and its about how she came to adopt her daughter Lucy, whom she fostered before adopting her.
Its a really good read. I am enjoying it immensely.
Its very very sad though. Lucys early life was very traumatic. Before she came into care I mean.
I wanted to reread this book as I couldn’t remember a lot of the details.
I’ll review it once I am done. Have any of you my readers read it?

Hmm. Have you ever tracked if reading books with some potentially triggering stuff might be upsetting your littles/other insiders? I certainly enjoy more triggering books, but I can’t read them within a few hours of bed or during rough times. Since I know you’ve been struggling recently with therapy break, etc., would it help your system to keep track on if any of the books/t.v. you might be watching might be unintentionally triggering some you? Just a thought. Everyone is different, but I know realizing that link helped me stay more stable in stressful times. I read the one Cathy Glass book my library had. It was definitely good, but definitely not something I could easily read in a heavy nightmare period!

Yes!Its definitely worth thinking about it! I may try lighter books at night, and leave the heavy reading for daytime, thanks for the suggestion! I appreciate it!
