Happy st. patricks day to you all!

I hope you all have a fantastic day, whatever you do!
😀
I am not sure what I am doing today yet! I want to do something to make the day special, I just dont know what I will do!
I am not going to the parade in our city, its too crowded!
Are any of you doing anything special today?
Making any special meals?
We arent even making a traditional irish meal today! 😀
We’re having fish! My sis was supposed to go to killarney in Kerry, to the parade there, but its an hour and a half drive there and another hour and a half drive home again, so she decided against it.

    What is the parade like in Ireland? as I have never seen one.

    It’s not as windy as I was expecting this morning when I got up, but I am staying in as planned. I am colouring and probably will for a majority of the day on a different off. I shall have my lunch later which will be a hot dinner of some kind then later at night it will be an egg cob.
    I may have a dabble with my watercolours I bought Friday.

    Have a very happy and enjoyable day! 🙂 Here we normally don’t celebrate st. patrick’s Day, but because I love everything Irish I’m simply going to listen to loads of Irish music today in my very green room and I happen to be reading an Irish book – by Cecelia Ahern – at the moment though it’s just a coincidence hahaha I didn’t even plan to read it today, just started yesterday very spontaneously.

        I’ve read “PS, I Love You” and now I’m reading “If You Could See Me Now”. So far I feel like the latter is a little better.

        Did you get them on Audible? I’ve heard of PS I love you I wonder if it’s a good read I might try to read it sometime I’m not big into fiction books

        No, I’ve read both of them in Polish, so not on Audible, though I may read them in the original too some day, but so far I have no idea if they’re on Audible or not. “PS, I Love You” is fairly realistic so maybe you would like it.

        Brilliant. Us too. Went to the beach early, then I wrote a little, we took Kid back and now I am planning g next week, having a glass of carrot wine in honour of St. Patrick’s Day!!!! 😚☘🙋‍♀️☘🐝☘

We’re currently celebrating in the most Irish place outside of Ireland https://www.whalehouse.ca/blog/top-10-reasons-why-st-patricks-day-in-newfoundland-is-the-best Yep, Newfoundland Canada is the only place outside of Ireland that considers St. Patrick’s a statutory holiday. We’re serious about St. Patricks!
