That today is the birthday of the Hollywood Walk of Fame (1960)? The Walk of Fame consists of more than 2,600 five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks in Hollywood, California. The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry. Among the first to receive a star included Joanne Woodward, Olive Borden, Ronald Colman, Louise Fazenda, Preston Foster, Burt Lancaster, Edward Sedgwick, and Ernest Torrence.
