Slow Cooker Oatmeal
2 cups dry rolled oats
4 cups water
1 large apple, peeled and chopped
1 cup raisins
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 to 2 tablespoons orange zest
Combine all ingredients in 4 to 5 quart slow cooker. Cover; cook on low for 8 to 9 hours. Serve topped with brown sugar, if desired, and milk.
Makes 7 to 8 servings.
