The pumpkins are glowing, the witches take flight,
Ghosts hang from trees, giving kids quite a fright.
But something went wrong this year, oh dear, oh my!
The skeletons danced in the pumpkin pie.

The black cat wore sneakers, the mummy wore shades,
Zombies were jogging in parade-like parades.
Candy got stuck in a spider web trap,
While vampires debated the best juice to unwrap.

The haunted house hosted a disco that night,
With cobweb confetti and bats in delight.
Even the scarecrow forgot how to stand,
And joined in the limbo, straw in his hand.

So if you stroll by on Halloween eve,
Expect the absurd—you might not believe!
For Halloween’s magic is wacky, it seems,
Where monsters are silly and pumpkins have dreams.
