My thanks goes to Fandango for the prompt word which was blurred.
FOWC With Fandango — Blurred – Facts, Fictions & Fantasies
I walked a road not marked by stone,
Where thought and truth entwined, unknown—
Each shadow hummed a distant lore,
And dreams spilled out through every door.
The sky was stitched in paper seams,
Painted by the brush of dreams,
While mountains swayed like whispered doubt,
Their edges flickering in and out.
A clock sang hours that never came,
A mirror called me by no name.
The trees would lean and softly say,
“What’s real will surely drift away.”
I held a star that felt like sand,
It melted softly in my hand—
And though I stood on solid ground,
The air beneath made not a sound.
Imagination danced with truth,
Like moonlight cradling restless youth.
And every step I thought assured,
Revealed a world completely blurred.
So tell me—was it truth I saw,
Or just the reach of wonder’s law?
For in that place, both hearts concur:
What’s real and dream will always blur.
