Esthers writing prompt

This week Esthers writing prompt is sign! Thank you Esther! And here is what I came up with!

Writing Prompts – Esther Chilton

Give me a sign, not a whisper or breeze,
Not the rustle of leaves or the bend in the trees.
Give me a flare in the ink of the night,
A flash in the dark that could pass for your light.

I’ve wandered too long in the silence of skies,
Reading the riddles in stars with my eyes.
Each path looks the same, each step feels unsure—
Is the door that I knock on your heart, or a lure?

Give me a sign, not a metaphor’s dance,
Not dreams that dissolve when I give them a chance.
Let it be plain, let it break through my doubt—
A voice I can trust when the world drowns me out.

I’ve asked of the heavens, I’ve begged of the sea,
If love has a language, let it answer me.
A flicker, a feather, a word you once spoke,
A signal that this isn’t all some cruel joke.

Give me a sign—
Something real.
Something mine.

Thank you for reading, liking, and commenting to my posts.  It is very appreciated.

I am currently raising money to pay for ongoing psychotherapy. I am a survivor of complex trauma, I have dissociative identity disorder, and complex PTSD.  Therapy can be very expensive.

If you feel like donating to my fund you can donate using pay pal. My pay pal email for donating is:

Don’t feel you have to, there is no pressure, but I’m grateful for any donations that are received.

Again thanks for visiting!
